Hello Everyone! My name is Michael Ambrogio. This is my fourth semester of my masters at NYIT. I am an alumni of NYIT with my bachelors in hospitality, business, and english. After graduation, I pursued a career in the restaurant industry. After many years, I am back on my original career path of becoming a teacher. I enjoy cooking, listening to music, and spending time with my family. If I were to write a book about myself I would call it "Life with Mikey." A joke I told my niece not long ago was, "Why was 6 afraid of 7? Because 7, 8, 9. I am not currently a teacher but I am looking forward to learning about the teaching of language arts. I know that new literacies are the use of technology as a teaching platform. I have not been in the classroom yet other than observations, so hoping to keep up with students who are already teaching. Look forward to working with you all!
